Printable States and Capitals Quiz
A free PDF worksheet covering all 50 US states. Students write the capital city next to each state, and page two is the answer key, so grading takes about a minute. It prints cleanly on one letter-size page in black and white, with a name and date line at the top.
There are two versions. The standard quiz is recall only: state name, blank line, no hints. The matching version adds a word bank of all 50 capitals at the top, which works better for younger students, first exposure, or review days. Same 50 states, same answer key format.
Both files are small, need no signup, and can be copied freely for your classroom, homeschool, or quiz night. If a student finishes early, point them at the online states and capitals quiz, which covers the same material with instant feedback.
